To love God and people above all else

Created By God, Built for a Purpose!

You are invited to the Maker Fun Factory, where kids will learn to look for God’s creativity in the world around them! They’ll find their hearts coming to life as they see and know that God is with them everywhere and at every moment! Who else would do that for us besides our wonderful creator?!
Through their adventures, children will explore the truths that God has set in place for all creation: God made you, God is for you, God is always with you, God will always love you, and God made you... for a reason! We will have a great time with lively songs, hilarious skits, creative crafts, exciting games, Bible stories, tasty snacks and missionaries from around the world—all of the things that make VBS so much fun.
Maker Fun Factory shifts into gear the week of June 26 - 30, 2017, from 9:00am to 12:15pm!
Student Registration Info
We will accept Student Registration requests online from April 2 - 15. Registration will start at 8:30am. During those dates,  we will also have a table set up in The Commons at Cherrydale to assist registering in person. VBS will fill up completely and we anticipate that there will be many more requests than available spots.  Rather than create a registration fury, we are taking requests during those two weeks so that we can create balanced classes.  Families will be notified the week of April 17 of their registration status.  Maker Fun Factory is open to children currently in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Over 100 volunteers are needed before and during VBS to make this ministry a success.  Whether you’d like to teach a class, lend a hand decorating, serve snacks, or join the kids as a group leader, we have plenty of spots for people of all talents! The only qualifications are a willing spirit and a love for Jesus and His children.
Volunteer Registration will be held March 19 - April 1. Our volunteer application will go live starting on March 19 with a link to be posted below. As with the Student Registration, we will have a table set up in The Commons to assist with registering as well. In the meantime, please download a copy of the descriptions of the many positions it takes to make VBS run!
