I'm a New Christian and want to grow in Christ.  A 13 week (one-on-one) elective to help you as a new Christian. It covers Assurance of Salvation; Attributes of God; The Bible; Prayer; The Spirit-filled Life; Fellowship; Witnessing; Temptation; and Obedience. Come with the kids for a 180-minute tour of the entire Bible that will help you see the Bible as a whole and understand it as never before. Especially planned for parents to bring their children (first grade and above) and teens to learn together.  Offered in the winter.

This is a Sunday afternoon seminar designed to help you discover your life mission by learning your SHAPE: discovering your Spiritual gifts; surfacing your Heart’s passion; reviewing your Abilities and talents; seeing how your Personality fits with your passion, and finally, mixing in your life Experiences. A 10-week elective for those who want a Biblical overview of the key doctrines of our faith. They are:  The Bible; God; Jesus Christ; The Holy Spirit; Man and Sin; Salvation; Angels; Satan and Demons; The Church; Things to Come.

This elective gives the Biblical basis for missions, the history of the modern missions movement, a look at the current spiritual state of the world, and how you can participate in world evangelization. Offered in spring.

 

What do the words "missionary" and "support" make you think of? Join us as we learn and discuss how to practically care for missionaries in many more ways and discover your crucial role in God's global work as a sender and mobilizer.

 

A 10-week Sunday morning elective that is offered in the Fall and Spring. Married couples are taught the biblical principles that will enable them to build a Christ-honoring marriage. Offered in fall and spring.

 

At the Principles for Parents Seminar you'll learn the biblical principles that make great families. Follow them, and your family will be a success!  Offered quarterly.

 

Apologetics is the area of Christian theology which focuses on the defense of the Christian faith, particularly through the rational justification of Christian belief and doctrine.  We do not have a class scheduled at this time.

 

This six session evangelism training will equip you to share your faith in a personal and natural style that fits you! Offered in fall and spring.

 

A 10-week study that will introduce you to some building blocks for biblical financial stewardship. Offered in fall and spring.

Our Newcomers Class is a basic introduction to our church family.

 

This training is for potential small group shepherds. We will present the scriptural basis for small groups, Cherrydale’s strategy and the role of shepherding in small groups.  Offered quarterly.
